Cultural Design
This design honors South Sudan's land and living traditions: the vast Sudd wetland, home to most of the world's shoebills; the long-horned cattle at the heart of Dinka, Nuer and Mundari cattle camps; the color-coded beadwork corsets and cowries of Dinka craftswomen; the thom, a box lyre of Nuer music; and the great white-eared kob migration of Boma and Badingilo. Each element is drawn as ornate, finely detailed artwork with tasteful gold accents.
