A bright blue mailbox with its flag up, a six-pointed star on the side and its door swung open as golden gelt coins spill out into the snow: a fun, special-delivery Hanukkah jersey. The Mailbox Gelt Delivery Hanukkah Hockey Jersey is a custom hockey jersey with your own name and number, made in sizes XS to 6XL and four colors: Mailbox Postal Blue, Mailbox Gelt Gold, Mailbox Silver and Mailbox Ink Navy. It is a festive Hanukkah fan shirt and premium piece of sports apparel for game day, the rink, candle lighting, Hanukkah parties and family gatherings across all eight nights, and it works just as well as a matching team jersey.
The Artwork and Where It Sits
The sublimated artwork is built around one clear theme: a detailed round crest in the middle of the chest, crisp patterned stripes on the sleeves and hem, and a clean back with plenty of open space for your name and number. Each colorway sticks to a tight palette so the design stays sharp and easy to read from across the rink. It is an original Hanukkah design with no team, league or brand marks, and every star in it is a true six-pointed Star of David.
- Front: a large round chest crest with a beaded ring, small six-pointed stars around the edge and a swallowtail banner reading GELT
- Crest center: a snow-capped blue mailbox on a wooden post with a red flag raised, a six-pointed star on its side, the door open and gold star-stamped gelt coins tumbling out beside a star-stamped envelope
- Sleeves: two solid stripes framing a band of little envelopes and six-pointed stars
- Hem: a solid stripe over a matching envelope-and-star band
- Back: your name arched across the shoulders over a big outlined number, with a small six-pointed star just under the collar (pictured with a sample name and 00)
What it means
Gelt, a little money or chocolate coins, is handed out to kids during Hanukkah, and a mailbox overflowing with it captures the fun of cards, gifts and good wishes arriving from family near and far.
