Cultural Design
The design is inspired by Guinea's culture and landscape: the elephant, long a beloved national symbol; the djembe drum and the wooden balafon at the heart of Mandé music; the green highlands and waterfalls of the Fouta Djallon; and the hand-dyed indigo léppi cloth, echoed in the resist-dye circles of the yoke and hem.
